Paper Planes for Teaching Construction Production Systems Based on Lean Tools: Continuous Improvement Cells and 5S

چکیده

Teaching production systems and Lean tools is a challenge for educators in the construction area, which highlighted by difficulty of emulating classroom scenarios that industry professionals will face. Hence, implementing pedagogical games has high potential to improve education processes. However, gaps are observed proposal applicable teaching based on tools. Considering this gap, paper proposes game planes support Continuous Improvement Cells 5S. The research method consisted applying Design Science Research (DSR) develop, evaluate, proposal. Thus, was assumed as an artifact subject development improvement process solve identified problem. proposed consists three main rounds: (1) system design, (2) implementation, (3) 5S implementation. theoretical practical contribution tools, evaluating students’ knowledge surveys before after assessing performance indicators. application group undergraduate graduate students showed broad positive impact assimilation principles
